SHI Expresses Gratitude to Founding Board Members 

Following the Soil Health Institute’s announcement of 10 new members to its Board of Directors effective April 1, 2024, President and CEO Wayne Honeycutt, Ph.D., gratefully acknowledged the contributions of the founding board, many of whom have served since SHI’s creation in 2015.  

The founding board recommended bringing on the new directors to better position SHI for rapidly expanding opportunities to bring regenerative agriculture’s benefits to farmers and the environment.

Three continuing members remain on the board: Jason Weller, Global Chief Sustainability Officer for JBS; Diana Jerkins, Ph.D., Former Research Director for the Organic Farming Research Foundation; and V. Larkin Martin, Manager of Martin Farm, Alabama.
